In 2018, The QMCA reinvented their annual awards program to a new fresh and exciting format, with new award categories that focused on innovation.
To develop a distinct award identity to complement the QMCA’s overall brand, reflect the refreshed format and categories and help encourage entries and attendance at the presentation. The identity needed to work with existing QMCA branding and be appropriate for a wide range of applications.
We developed three strong options, each focused on excellence and innovation, while complementing existing branding. We carefully considered the best way to bring excitement and excellence to the primary brand, and appeal to the target audience, which largely comprised engineers and project managers. We applied the selected identity to the program, signage, video and presentation material and developed secondary colours for each award category.
